Job Summary
Conduct patient work-ups by obtaining medical and surgical histories and completing diagnostic testing including auto refractions, topographical mapping, and visual acuity measurements. Assist surgeons in exam lanes and procedures by performing slit lamp examinations, tonometry, and drop instillation while ensuring all forms are complete and outcome data is maintained. Prepare laser rooms with supplies, stock medications and medical supplies, order inventory, and perform regular and emergency equipment maintenance. Provide pre- and post-operative care and instructions to patients, including calling for scheduled procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

- 2+ years experience as Ophthalmology Technician is Ideal
