Seeking a detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician or Medical Scribe to support physicians in a fast-paced medical environment, ensuring accurate documentation and contributing to patient care. Requires high school diploma, strong communication skills, and some medical scribe experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to type or write legibly in a dimly lit setting
- Highly energetic, positive attitude, and a team player
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other office locations
Desired Qualifications
- Prior medical scribe experience (2+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of ophthalmology billing/coding is a plus
- Experience with NextGen or other EHR systems preferred
