Job Summary
Ophthalmic Technician at MN Eye Consultants (Minnetonka) performing subjective/objective ophthalmic testing (visual acuity, tonometry, keratometry, refractometry, visual fields), obtaining patient histories, educating patients on diagnostic testing, and supporting doctors of optometry. Requires high school diploma/equivalent and 1 year of direct patient care in an eye clinic or related role; starting pay $20.00-23.00/hour; typical schedule Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:00pm with possible Saturday half-day; home base Minnetonka with potential shifts at Bloomington, Blaine, and Woodbury locations. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience within an eye clinic or Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or LPN experience
