Job Summary
Welcome and acknowledge all patients, obtain complete histories including chief complaint and medical background, and perform documented subjective and objective ophthalmic testing such as visual acuities, refractometry, and tonometry. Educate patients regarding diagnostic testing, open and close exam rooms, and ensure all equipment is clean and stocked. This full-time role at the Woodbury clinic includes Monday-Friday hours from 7:30am-5:00pm with occasional Saturday shifts, starting at $20.00-23.00/hour. The position supports the MEC team in delivering life-changing vision procedures and treatments across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience within an eye clinic or Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or LPN experience
Desired Qualifications
- Optometry or Ophthalmology experience
