Job Summary
Conduct patient screenings and assessments, including taking patient histories. Assist in various diagnostic tests and procedures. Provide patient education on eye care and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate effectively with the ophthalmologist and the rest of the team. Ensure that our core values are upheld in every patient interaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or equivalent certification preferred
- Previous experience in ophthalmology practice is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols
- Empathetic and patient-centered approach
- Team player with a positive attitude
