Job Summary
Obtain and document patient history, determine visual acuity, and perform automated refraction. Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions as ordered by the physician. Perform office duties including entering data into EMR, measure intraocular pressure, and conduct pre-operative preparation. Maintain equipment and instruments while providing patient services. Requires 2 to 3 years of ophthalmic or optometric technician experience, a COA is preferred, and dependable transportation to travel to various locations. Flexible scheduling with on-call rotation may be required.
