Job Summary
Ophthalmic Technician needed to join Discover Vision Centers in Leawood, KS. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting with check-in, verifying patient information, and recording medical history and purpose of visit. Conduct preliminary testing such as visual acuity, pupil assessment, refraction, dilation, intraocular pressure, and extraocular movement testing. Perform diagnostic procedures including OCT, visual fields, GDX, IOL Master, auto-refractor, and corneal topography. Demonstrate knowledge of ocular anatomy, diseases, symptoms, and medications. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and support the clinical team with administrative duties. Requires a high school diploma or GED, strong computer/data entry skills, and excellent communication; COA/COT certification is preferred but not required if otherwise qualified. Required Qualifications
