Job Summary
Collect patient medical histories and perform diagnostic tests including eye pressure, pupil reactions, vision scope, color vision, and muscle movement. Assist ophthalmologists during surgery by preparing rooms and equipment, while taking and explaining procedures, treatments, and diagnoses to patients. Maintain sensitive ophthalmic equipment and ensure exam rooms remain clean and organized. Perform comprehensive work-ups on 3.5 patients per hour using refractive and tonometric tools. This role supports the clinical team at Eye Consultants of Atlanta, where technologists collaborate with specialists to diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders.
