Job Summary
Triage patients, record accurate medical history, and screen for visual acuity, visual fields, intraocular pressure, and ocular motility. Capture diagnostic retinal imaging including macular OCT, document chart notes, and prepare exam rooms and patient charts for physicians. Assist with in-office procedures, communicate patient education before and after visits, and support clinical trials recruitment across clinic and remote locations. Travel between Austin and Bastrop clinics using company-provided transportation or reimbursed mileage, with irregular hours including early mornings and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Valid U. S. driver's license demonstrating unrestricted and satisfactory driving record
- Able and willing to travel outside of the Central region to assist other regions
- Master multiple computer systems for data entry and input including Google, MicrosoftOffice, Teams, data management, browsers, scanners, etc
- Ability to master ophthalmology and retina terminology

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a busy optometry, ophthalmology, and/or retina clinic
- COA, COT, or COMT certification
- Bilingual in Spanish
