Job Summary
Ophthalmic Technician 1 (OT1) per diem in Doral, FL performing clinical testing and documentation in EMR, supporting providers, and traveling to satellite eye centers as needed. Responsibilities include eye drop administration, ocular surface assessment, intraocular pressure measurement (Goldmann, Tono-Pen, I-Care), refraction, visual acuity and acuity testing, perimetry (Humphrey and VR), contact lens insertion/removal, and various ocular history reviews. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and 1 year of relevant experience. Part-time, per diem schedule with evenings/weekends and travel to satellite centers.
