Job Summary
Conduct patient workups and preliminary tests including visual acuity, lensometry, keratometry, topography, tonometry, pachymetry, and visual fields per protocol. Facilitate efficient patient flow by monitoring schedules, medical records, and conflicts while triaging phone calls to resolve concerns. Manage exam lanes by ensuring opening, closing, maintenance, and stocking of work areas. Send prescriptions to pharmacies, handle prior authorizations, and participate in team meetings to report progress. Maintain order in work areas and actively pursue professional self-development.
