Job Summary
Greet patients, perform comprehensive ophthalmic workups including visual acuity, tonometry, and OCT, and document histories, vitals, and findings in the EHR. Assist providers with exams, procedures, and medication administration while serving as a scribe and managing patient scheduling and supply inventory. Clean exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards. Schedule appointments, respond to patient messages, and support staff onboarding. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry
Desired Qualifications
- ICA-accredited training or IJCAHPO/AAO independent study program
- COA or COT certification
- BLS certification
