Job Summary
Ophthalmic Assistant at Gailey Eye Clinic in Bloomington, IL. Responsibilities include showing patients to examination rooms and performing a workup prior to seeing the Doctor; working one-on-one with patients; using computer software; demonstrating strong communication, typing, and spelling skills; thriving in both independent and team settings; handling multiple tasks with shifting priorities; providing compassionate patient care; and traveling to other Gailey offices in Central Illinois as needed. No previous experience is required—we will train the right person. Certification (COA) can be obtained around 1 year of employment, with potential wage increases after certification.
