Required Qualifications
- Ophthalmic Assistant: High School diploma/GED plus one (1) year of ophthalmic/optometric assisting, patient care, customer service or related experience.
- Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Preferred: One (1) year of ophthalmic/optometric assisting or experience in a medical setting.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant: High School diploma/GED plus one (1) year of ophthalmic/optometric assisting experience required.
- Current Ophthalmic Assistant Certification.
- Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician: High School diploma/GED plus two (2) years of ophthalmic/optometric assisting experience required.
- Current Ophthalmic Assistant Certification.
- Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist: High School diploma/GED plus three (3) years of ophthalmic/optometric assisting experience required.
- Current Ophthalmic Assistant Certification.
- Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
