Job Summary

Welcome patients and visitors with a positive disposition, ensuring clinic patient flow is maintained. Obtain patient histories through intake assessments and record findings in the EHR. Perform visual acuity, auto-refraction, manual and automated lensometry, Goldmann and Tonopen tonometry tests, keratometry, pupil checks, and eye drop administration. Run diagnostic tests including Immersion A-scan, OCTs, and Visual Fields. Administer color vision, depth perception, and Schirmer's tear testing as needed. Assist in minor office procedures such as lasers and excisions. Educate patients on ophthalmic conditions and obtain consent for procedures and surgery. Maintain exam rooms, including cleaning and sterilization. Requires high school diploma or GED, with one year of ophthalmology experience preferred. Flexible Monday-Friday schedule available.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Flexible schedule working Monday-Friday

  • At least 1-year of experience in Ophthalmology
  • COA, COT
  • Detail oriented
  • reliable
  • able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
