Job Summary
OPFOR Non-Linear Subject Matter Expert (SME) sought to design, develop, and deliver OPFOR NON-LINEAR incident settings and scenarios for NATO’s Joint Warfare Center (JWC). Responsibilities include incident development with NON-LINEAR effects, scripting in JEMM and Link Analysis tools, providing NON-LINEAR expertise to OPFOR scripters, coordinating with EXCON/OPFOR cells, attending incident development boards and workshops, and supporting CAX/JTLS activities. Requires university degree in Intelligence/Law/International Affairs, 8+ years of related military/civilian Operational Intelligence or Special Forces experience, NATO security clearance, and strong proficiency with analysis tools and MS Office. Location: NATO JWC, Stavanger, Norway with travel as required; additional location: Norfolk, VA.
Required Qualifications
- University/bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Law or International Affairs related subject
- 8 years previous military or civilian experience in the Operational Intelligence or Special Forces domain
- Minimum 8 years previous military experience within the last 12 years in the OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE or SPECIAL FORCES domain reaching the rank of OF3/OF4 (or civilian equivalent)
- Three (3) years military or civilian experience as a OF3-OF4 (or civilian equivalent) in Senior Field Agent, Supervisory Special Agent, Special Agent in Charge, Senior Case Officer, or Senior Analyst in NATO or national Military or Civilian Intelligence or Security Police Agency or NATO or national Special Forces domain equivalent to a 2* HQ or higher
- Competent in Link Analysis databases and software applications including ‘I-Base’ and ‘I2’
- Working knowledge of Hybrid threats at the operational or strategic level
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Current NATO Secret Security Clearance or National equivalent
- Proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 (SLP 3333)
- Active security clearance (NATO Secret or higher)
- Location: NATO Joint Warfare Center, Stavanger, Norway
- Travel: CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required
