Operator

Operates the Chlor-Alkali facility to convert salt feedstock into chlorine and manage co-products like caustic soda and hydrogen. Manages chlorine cells, caustic evaporation, and hydrochloric acid synthesis while maintaining maximum plant feed rates. Controls brine facilities, steam and air systems, and drying/compression processes for chlorine and hydrogen. Oversees salt handling, brine sludge disposal, wastewater monitoring, and neutralization tower operations. Ensures unit housekeeping, waste disposal, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. Supports Westlake CA&O production goals through routine duties and assigned tasks in a safe, cost-effective manner.
