Operator - Water Transfer

Job Summary
Lay and retrieve poly line, lay flat hose, and underground pipelines while operating transfer pumps and essential equipment. Load and unload pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks, then drive vehicles to transport gear and personnel. Set and service pumps and generators at job sites, adjust machine controls and gauges, and perform spill cleanups. Use hand and power tools, communicate via radios and signals, and adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Complete DOT, OSHA, and safety training as directed. Work outdoors in all weather conditions with a full-time schedule, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience and/or equivalent training
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs
