Job Summary
Water Transfer Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and rigging down water transfer operations using poly pipe, lay flat hose, and underground pipeline systems. Performs loading/unloading of pipe and equipment, monitors gauges, maintains specified conditions, sets up and services pumps and generators, follows safety procedures with PPE, assists in containment and spill cleanups, and communicates with crew via radios/telephones. Requires travel, outdoor work in all conditions, and training for DOT/OSHA safety. Proficient in using hand and power tools, driving trucks to transport equipment, and collaborating in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience and/or equivalent training.
- Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented due to the necessity of safety.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Able to thrive in a team environment.
- Experience in energy industry a plus.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
