Job Summary
Water Transfer operators setup, operate, and rig down water transfer jobs outdoors, moving water through poly pipe, lay flat hose, and underground pipelines to customer frac sites. Responsibilities include laying and picking up poly line, loading/unloading materials, monitoring gauges and controls, servicing pumps and generators, following safety procedures and PPE requirements, assisting in containment and spill cleanups, coordinating with teammates via radios and signals, using hand and power tools, and driving trucks to transport equipment and personnel. The role requires reading and applying safety training (DOT/OSHA) and working as part of a crew in varying weather conditions. Training is provided; knowledge of equipment, procedures, and security-related awareness is valued.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience and/or equivalent training
- Must be detail oriented
- Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills
- Able to thrive in a team environment
- Experience in energy industry a plus
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA and safety
