Job Summary
Operator, Vacuum Truck Services performing hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading/hauling of fluids/materials in an industrial setting; duties include safe operation of vacuum equipment, maintaining trip logs and documentation, ensuring environmental compliance, and contributing to safety programs while delivering exceptional service to clients. Requires CDL, 2+ years vacuum/hydro-excavation experience, strong communication, safety focus, and ability to work independently with occasional after-hours travel; position at GFL with Team Green and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2 years industrial vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience (preferably with a combo unit)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Safety-focused attitude with experience in an industrial setting
- Knowledge to perform minor maintenance on units
- Cleanliness and organizational skills
- Willing to accept after hours calls when necessary
- Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, CSTS, TDG, and H2S Alive (asset)
