Job Summary
Operate loading and unloading of product, maintain equipment and grounds, and ensure compliance with operating procedures. Apply refrigeration knowledge, participate in training, and assist with development and maintenance of manuals/records. Respond to hazardous materials incidents as part of Emergency Response and Hazardous Materials Technician/Incident Commander roles, monitor gauges, test samples, and maintain safety and environmental programs. Support capital and maintenance projects, and assume facility responsibilities in the absence of management. Work 12-hour rotating shifts, with on-call duties, evenings, and weekends as required; travel between facilities may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent; plus equivalent of 2 years college, Military/technical training, or related work experience
- HAZMAT certified (post-employment requirement)
- Ability to understand and follow operating procedures
- Refrigeration knowledge commensurate with position level
- Good communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills and be capable of data entry and information retrieval
- Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language
