Job Summary
Water Transfer Operator responsible for setup, operation, and teardown of equipment used for water transfer at frac sites. Executes duties such as laying and picking up poly line, laying flat hose, and running transfer pumps; experience running skid steers; loading/unloading pipe and field materials onto trailers; observing gauges and adjusting controls; setting and servicing pumps and generators; following safety procedures and using PPE; assisting in containment and spill clean-ups; communicating with crew via signals, radios, and phones; using hand and power tools; driving trucks to transport equipment and personnel; and completing DOT/OSHA safety training as directed.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience and/or equivalent training
- Must be detail-oriented due to the necessity of safety
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Able to thrive in a team environment
- Experience in the energy industry a plus
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
- Must have valid Driver’s License
