Job Summary
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods per customer and chemical specifications while monitoring equipment for minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Operate machinery and monitor chemical reaction processes to manufacture polymer resins and industrial chemicals, documenting shipping, receiving, and manufacturing data on a computer. Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines by wearing required PPE, including hard hats, respirators, and steel-toe boots, while working in outside weather, heights, and confined spaces. Meet and exceed production goals within a rotating 24/7 shift schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience operating a forklift
- At least 18 years or age
- Willing to take a drug test
- Submit to a background investigation
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Satisfactory work performance (if currently an employee of the Company)
Desired Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of continuous employment in the last four (4) years
- One (1) year or more of experience in an industrial, warehouse, military, farming, construction, mechanical or production environment
- One (1) year or more of experience using a computer or tablet to record information and using a computer for data entry of record keeping documentation, shipping and receiving information, or manufacturing processes documentation
- One (1) year or more of experience in the chemical or refinery industries
