Job Summary
Monitor and operate plant process and auxiliary equipment for the DUF6 project, respond to emergencies (fire, hazardous events), collect and interpret data, perform chemical cleaning and decontamination of equipment, operate control boards and process instrumentation, and maintain logs and records to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of chemical processing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prefers Associate's Degree
- Prefers nuclear or chemical facility processing experience
- Prefers prior experience as an operator in a manufacturing plant setting
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential
