Job Summary
Monitor production, loading, and shipping processes for Ammonia, ANF, Nitric Acid/Urea, and the port facility. Operate valves, instruments, and specialized equipment to adjust liquid levels, flows, temperatures, and pressures. Collect process data daily and record it on sheets. Safely load trucks and rail cars with outgoing product, unload rail cars for plant use, and clean railcars. Demonstrate proficiency in switch engine operation and coordinate shipping/loading with related jobs. Work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, with overtime required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduation/GED
- Is physically capable
- Available and willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Understands overtime is required in this position
- Agrees to work their fair share of overtime, which will include weekends and holidays
- Works in a safe manner promoting the health and well-being of the individual, his team and the environment
Desired Qualifications
- Academic degrees, certifications and/or licenses
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in chemical operations, oil/gas industry, railroad, construction or industrial setting
- Effective organizational, time management and communication skills
- Strong math skills, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office IT environment including use of Word, Excel and Outlook
