Job Summary
Coordinate conveyor activities by organizing work orders at load and unload stations, loading and unloading product into sterilized totes, and preparing dosimeters for scheduled runs. Record input, dosimeter, and unload information in the computer, operate dosimeter readers, and assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheets and load/unload sheets. Replace designated mechanical components and report system problems to the Shift Supervisor or Maintenance team. Perform emergency procedures required by governing agencies and complete all training and qualification requirements for operator certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
- Must be willing to work established shifts
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time
- Must successfully complete all training and qualification requirements necessary to achieve operator certification
- Must remain current on all assigned training, certifications, and qualifications
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift driving experience preferred
- Computer skills desired
