Job Summary
The Pump Truck Operator drives, sets up, operates, and maintains pump truck equipment at well sites, performing maintenance on pumps, maintaining clean work areas, rigging up/down equipment, and following safety procedures. Requires one year of experience in the oilfield service industry, knowledge of truck operations and regulations, computer proficiency, and the ability to operate manual transmission trucks. A valid CDL is preferred, and proficiency on required equipment must be demonstrated through a road test.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in oil field service industry
- Knowledge of heavy, diesel-powered truck operations
- Valid, active Commercial Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Proficient in driving Manual Transmission Tractors with Trailers
- Must know how to operate a computer laptop or tablet
- Ability to pass a road test proving proficiency on required equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of MS Office preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, push, pull or lift for extended times
- Ability to read, write and speak English to understand instructions
- Ability to use simple mathematical calculations
