Job Summary
Production Operator responsible for the setup, adjustment, and safe operation of Polar or Saber cutting machines to prepare products for packing, collated or bound, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and company procedures. Duties include operating batching systems, reviewing job tickets, planning workflows, collaborating with side cutter operators, troubleshooting machine issues, replacing worn cutting blades, setting up job specifications, monitoring run speed and adherence to specifications, ensuring quality and quantity, completing required paperwork, maintaining housekeeping, and adhering to safety rules; requires High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience with cutting machines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Six months – one year of related experience with Polar or Saber cutting machines in a manufacturing environment
