Operator, Production Experienced

Job Summary
Operate machinery and equipment in a processing facility while conducting continuous inspections, monitoring parameters, and adjusting settings to meet production targets. Implement QA policies, complete sampling and testing of process streams, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance as required. Manage housekeeping, sanitation schedules, and general work area appearance while loading, unloading, and carrying materials. Comply with all safety regulations, identify workplace hazards, and maintain issued tools. Work independently or with a team to solve problems and support overall plant operations. During training, follow an 8-hour schedule before transitioning to a 12-hour rotating shift; the position includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Production Operations
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to work independently for extended periods of time, as well as in confined spaces and in hazardous environments
- Ability to spend long periods of time being on your feet including walking, standing and climbing steps and ladders, and work at heights up to 120 ft
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to wear all required protective equipment which may include respirators, hard hats, and eye and hearing protection
- Ability to use both automated and manual tools and equipment
- Ability to shovel, sweep, load, unload, lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and all weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
