Job Summary
Press Operator in the Door Department at Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. responsible for pressing doors and shooting pins in the back of doors, ensuring doors are square with no open joints, maintaining required pin counts, producing and pressing quality doors per hour, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. Must read a tape measure, work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and communicate effectively with the Lead person or Supervisor. Includes adhering to safety protocols and following work processes; prior experience with tape gun-pins, clamp press, tape measures, hammer and air nozzle is noted in the role requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures
- Knowledge of quality standards
- Must know how to read a tape measure
- Good hand and eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Communicates effectively with the Lead person or Supervisor
