Job Summary
Operate a Komori sheet-fed press to produce high-quality, high-volume print products. Set up, configure, and run the press, monitor press cycles, and perform routine maintenance and basic repairs. Lead and direct an assistant operator, provide on-the-job training, and mentor junior staff. Review job orders for quantity, stock, colors, and special instructions; ensure on-time production and quality checks, and report defects. Manage throughput with the batching system, maintain records, and complete required paperwork. Maintain a safe workspace by adhering to safety policies, participating in safety culture, and wearing PPE. Attend department/company meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) – five (5) years’ experience as a Komori Sheet Fed Press Operator
- Proven mechanical aptitude and experience performing Sheet Fed Press maintenance and minor repairs
- Ability to read and understand English for policies, documents and instructions
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in printing production
- Strong attention to detail in color accuracy, image sharpness, and print placement
- Ability to train and mentor junior colleagues
