Operator Packaging Machine

Packaging finished product to specification under the direction of the production lead, coordinating with the Packaging Technician, Leads, and Team Leaders to manage incoming/outgoing product flow. Responsibilities include hooking up, filling, and labeling supersacks in a centered position on pallets, passing through a sizing curtain, coordinating with other Packers, performing sanitation duties, complying with safety and GMP rules, reporting accidents/unsafe conditions, maintaining logs, operating heavy material handling equipment (fillers, electric pallet jacks), loading slip sheets into packaging equipment, and performing other duties as assigned. Required skills include basic math, data retrieval from an HMI, multitasking with two fillers, and clear English communication. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, overhead work, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds tandem, possible dusty conditions, and safety-conscious work around moving machinery. A High School diploma or equivalent is required; manufacturing experience is helpful. The role is located in Pasco, WA, and is a full-time position with competitive benefits.
