Job Summary
Operator role in Austin, TX requiring hands-on operation of heavy equipment (dozer/loader/backhoe/gannon/scraper/compactor) with emphasis on grading, site preparation, GPS/laser elevation controls, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to safety and on-site communication. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, signaling coworkers, inspecting equipment, reading blueprints and stakes, and performing duties assigned on professional construction sites. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, working outdoors in varied weather, and complying with drug-screen requirements. Full-time with possible overtime and weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Three (3) years to five (5) years of related experience operating dozer, loader, backhoe, gannon, scraper, or compactor
- Five (5) plus years of related experience preferred
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen is required
