Job Summary
Ensure assigned equipment is ready for startup and changeovers by performing pre-start checks, visual inspections, and adjustments. Complete centerline inspections to identify defects, grease seals, clean, and replace belts while assisting mechanics with minor repairs and planned maintenance. Teardown equipment for changeover and sanitation, then complete daily paperwork including centerline reports and scale audits. Maintain a safe work area by keeping it free from debris, sweeping, and removing contaminants. Verify product for startup and participate in production line drumbeats. Work the scheduled 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM shift with required overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year maintenance or related experience
- Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime
- Regular attendance
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
- Ability to complete work/purchase requests into the maintenance tracking and performance computer system
- Knowledge of planned maintenance
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Basic math skills
- Good safety record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Own hand tools
- Knowledge of GMP's
- Ability to be LOTO certified
