Job Summary
Conduct on-the-job training and complete an independent study program as part of a three-year Operator-In-Training apprenticeship at the Cambridge City-Waste Water Treatment Plant. Receive professional in-house mentoring and coaching while working toward established benchmarks for periodic pay raises. Successfully complete required pre-employment screens, including a full background check, drug and alcohol screening, and a position-appropriate physical. This entry-level role prepares candidates for Operator positions with Maryland Environmental Service, a not-for-profit organization managing over 1,000 environmental projects across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region.
Required Qualifications
