Job Summary
Operate a computer-based laser machining work center by processing components based on drawings, written, or verbal instructions while verifying system conditions and adjusting settings within established guidelines. Inspect components to ensure specifications are met, enter data, and report issues as required. Take responsibility for all process documentation and maintain a clean, safe work area following Resonetics policies and safe labor practices. Provide leadership and direction to newly hired or junior employees when requested. Perform these duties Monday through Thursday from 5:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with a competitive hourly rate of $19.50–$21.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or completion of primary school in Costa Rica
- Minimum three years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment preferably utilizing computer aided machinery or similarly equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to follow detailed technical processes using mechanical equipment
- Must be able to comprehend documentation requirements
- Employee must become familiar with concepts of procedures
- Must be able to adjust system settings within established guidelines
- Employee must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner
- Employee is responsible for maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance
- Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with automated inspection equipment
- Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing
- Use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity
