Job Summary
Safely operate the HP T485 Digital Press and Muller Martini binding line, independently performing set-up, adjustment, and monitoring to achieve production and quality goals. Resolve common equipment issues through routine troubleshooting, manage product changeovers, and support preventive maintenance activities. Maintain accurate production documentation, ensure a clean work area following 5S standards, and collaborate with the team to sustain workflow efficiency. This Level 2 role develops technical proficiency toward full line operation, requiring proficiency with the HP T485, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read job tickets. Applicants must be born-again Christians affirming the Bob Jones University creed and core biblical doctrines.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in digital or offset printing operations
- Technical understanding of press operations and finishing processes
- Ability to read and follow production job tickets and specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work assigned shifts and adapt to schedule changes
- Born-again Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Agreement with and affirmation of the Bob Jones University creed, mission, and core biblical doctrines
- Conservative lifestyle and support for the group's positions on issues such as beverage alcohol, addictive substances, creation, marriage, human sexuality, and the sanctity of life
- Active membership in a local Bible-believing church which holds orthodox theology
- Commitment to providing students an excellent, world-class education from a biblical worldview
