Job Summary
Empty and refill boxing lines and other automation for plastic injection molded components, then visually inspect parts for molding defects and load metal inserts into mold cavities. Follow work instructions to label and package finished product, prepare skids in staging areas, and verify system conditions before operation. Enter required data into systems to maintain accurate documentation while ensuring components meet specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety guidelines, including equipment-specific requirements. Collaborate effectively within a team environment and follow direction from the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using a microscope for inspection or related tasks.
- Proficiency with basic metrology tools including micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of production systems.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Good dexterity as many jobs require the handling of many small components.
- Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment
- Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.
- Use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
