Job Summary
Operator II operates and maintains a group of oil and gas wells, performing daily checks, preparing and submitting daily reports on gas/liquid volumes, well pressure, and chemical usage; conducts production tests; performs minor equipment repairs; may operate production and injection equipment; witnesses gauges for run tickets; ensures OSHA/compliance adherence; demonstrates collaboration, self-awareness, action orientation, adaptability, effective communication, and trust in team settings; requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass pre-employment screening, and willingness to work nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR
- Ability to pass a respiratory fit test, if applicable to route/location
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
- Housing within 50 miles of the assigned area of operation
