Job Summary
Operator II (Mini Excavator) works within a 2–4 person construction crew to operate a mini excavator and other heavy equipment around live utilities for placing utilities to new and existing residential, multifamily, and commercial sites. Must hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and have 1+ years of backhoe/mini excavator operation, with 1+ years around underground utilities; 3+ years in construction preferred. Responsibilities include equipment operation, inspections, reading utility prints, setting up traffic control, digging and trenching, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. CDL Class A required; able to perform heavy manual labor, lift up to 80 lbs, and pass background checks and drug screen. On-site, Henderson, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- One (1+) plus years of experience in backhoe/mini excavator operation
- One (1+) plus years of experience digging and working around underground utilities
- Two (2+) plus years of demonstrated experience in dry utilities preferred
- Three (3+) plus years’ experience in a construction role is required
