Job Summary
Operate automatic equipment and monitor processes to ensure proper material application and quality compliance. Perform minor troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on machines per operator procedures and checklists. Conduct daily productivity reporting, data analysis, and lead changeovers based on quality and cycle time requirements. Train new employees on proper equipment operation and adjust settings to meet production plans safely and efficiently. Work the 5:15 am to 1:45 pm Monday through Friday shift in our Springfield, TN location. This role requires a high school diploma, one year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting
- Experience operating and setting up manufacturing equipment
- Experience making adjustments
- Experience performing changeovers
- Experience troubleshooting basic equipment issues
- Ability to monitor production, quality, and performance
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Ability to resolve routine production or equipment problems
- Experience training or supporting machine operators
- Experience following work instructions
- Experience following safety guidelines
- Experience following quality standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet production targets
- Ability to work flexible schedules when needed
- Must be able to work directly with insulation
