Job Summary

Operate assigned machinery, perform simple maintenance, and adjust equipment for various sizes using tools. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work Instructions for assembly, materials handling, and finished goods packaging. Monitor product for defects, document work accurately, and report discrepancies, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors. Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area, clean spills, and wear required PPE including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, and ear plugs while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs. Actively suggest process improvements and ensure all paperwork is completed per established policies.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Ability to stand for full shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (around 10 hours a day)
  • Ability to use push/pull force of up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to lift product up to 50lb
  • Communicate efficiently in English, both verbal and written
  • Understand and perform basic math
  • Listen to, follow and relay written and verbal instructions in English
  • Report property damage and/or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management immediately
  • Document accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance
  • Continuously supervise product for defects
  • Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery and perform simple maintenance
  • Make necessary adjustments and report malfunctioning equipment immediately to Supervisor or Lead
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area which includes all assigned equipment
  • Read, understand, and complete required documentation
  • All paperwork shall be accurately and neatly completed in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Set up and adjust machine to operate a variety of sizes and types using tools to adjust machine
  • Actively engage in making suggestions for process improvement
  • Encourage an atmosphere of partnership
  • No hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed
  • Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
  • Work with hazardous/toxic materials
  • Work in Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery)
  • Work in Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.)

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field
  • Experience in a cGMP environment
