Job Summary
Inspect, assemble, and pack products under the Manufacturing Supervisor's direction while adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards. Visually inspect bottles from machines, conveyor lines, or bulk containers to identify rejected parts and out-of-spec production, making quality decisions and advising supervisors as needed. Perform 15-minute inspections of high-volume production, set up work areas as controlled environments, and maintain necessary paperwork levels including inspection forms and MQC sheets. Adhere to company rules, operate assigned machines, and execute housekeeping responsibilities to maintain a clean environment for media bottle production.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High School diploma or a GED
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Ability to perform simple math such as add, subtract whole numbers
- Excellent hand/eye coordination skills
- Ability to lift and load pallets with weights up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work in a high speed, repetitive production environment
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
