Job Summary
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly Blow Molding production activities in a Food Certified GMP/GDP environment to maximize output. Operate single or multiple production processes including inspecting, trimming, labeling, moving pallets, and packaging products while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Monitor conveyors and baggers for jams, scrap, print quality, and material levels, communicating press downtime to setup techs with high urgency. Schedule operators and manage break times, providing shift handoffs from Captain to Captain. Train operators and complete hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly checklists, communicating them to supervisors. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and QA to resolve issues and facilitate setup tech checklist communication.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years in manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- High sense of urgency
- Level headed communication and real time decision making skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple internal departments at all levels of authority
- Ability to effectively and efficiently balance competing priorities
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing-pulling, and reaching throughout the entire shift
- Manual dexterity or fine motor skills
