Operator I - Water Transfer

Job Summary
Set up, operate, and rig down water transfer jobs safely by laying and picking up poly line and lay flat hose, running transfer pumps, and loading/unloading equipment onto trailers. Observe machine operations and gauges to maintain specified conditions, while setting and servicing pumps and generators at outdoor job sites. Drive trucks to transport equipment and personnel, using hand and power tools as needed. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements, assist in spill cleanups, and communicate via radios and signals. Complete DOT, OSHA, and safety training. Work outdoors in all weather conditions with a travel requirement, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience and/or equivalent training
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs
