Job Summary
Operate production equipment including vertical mills and other CNC machinery while performing manual assembly and fabrication tasks. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality, quantity, and customer standards, and assist with troubleshooting and routine maintenance on production machinery. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. This full-time 2nd shift position offers an hourly wage of $23 to $25 plus a 15% shift premium. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong basic math skills, and the ability to use measuring tools. Candidates must be flexible for overtime and emergency production needs, with a preference for prior manufacturing experience and familiarity with reading blueprints.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience
- Strong basic math skills
- Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Ability to adjust to emergency production needs
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to perform manual tasks as required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with vertical mills or similar equipment
