Job Summary
The Operator I position operates and maintains acetal production lines (1st-3rd shift), adheres to SOPs and manufacturing processes, and ensures production schedules are followed. Responsibilities include performing daily operator duties on production lines, providing daily/weekly production schedules, ensuring on-time completion of production orders, maintaining product quality specifications, following controlled documents, ensuring DPR accuracy, contributing to quality and productivity improvements, leading Lean manufacturing initiatives and supervising new work cells, and acting as a subject matter expert on product lines. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year in a medical device or component manufacturing environment; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in manufacturing/clean room environments; strong accuracy with measuring tools and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of on-the-job experience in medical device manufacturer or component manufacturer
- Able to use, but not limited to, pin gauge, ruler, tape measure and calipers
- Hand dexterity is essential, along with good eye-hand coordination
- Able to work independently or within a team
