Job Summary

Operate Softgel Encapsulation Machines, Batch Dryer Baskets, and Continuous Dryer Baskets while monitoring processes, adjusting for batch specifications, and maintaining mineral oil levels. Spread softgels on trays after tumbling, stir medicines per batch records, and perform gel/medicine changes. Maintain equipment and workspace by cleaning processing rooms, disassembling pump and die roll components, and disposing of gelatin netting. Train employees on spreading, changeovers, and cleaning procedures. Report machine malfunctions to Leads or Supervisors and ensure batch records, equipment logbooks, and SOPs remain accurate and compliant with cGMP regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate
  • Minimum 6-months experience in an FDA regulated industry
  • Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job
  • Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs
  • Must be able to manipulate heavier containers
  • Must be able to wear hearing protection for an 8-hour workday
  • Must be able to work in an odoriferous environment
  • Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame
  • Must be able to work on-site
