Job Summary
Produce and mix chemicals, operate plant equipment, pumps, mixers, and blenders, and load/unload tanks, rail cars, and trailers. Maintain a clean work area, perform light maintenance, and operate a forklift while adhering to strict safety protocols and wearing required PPE. Work the Graves shift from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM Saturday through Monday, lifting up to 75 pounds regularly. This role supports Thatcher Chemical's manufacturing teams in creating essential chemistries for clean water and safe environments across the nation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Stability in work history
- Willing to submit to a background screening
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language well
- Aptitude to follow written and verbal instructions in detail and learn additional skills with experience
- Capacity to work in extreme conditions (temperature) and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Flexibility to work varying hours or shifts if necessary
- Desire and demonstrated ability to work safely and promote safety and safe work practices
- Be quality conscious
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer minimum of 2-3 years prior work experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment including use of tools and equipment
